About the speakers:

Carolyn Gjerde (Technical Business Analyst Team Lead, PMI-PBA)

Carolyn has spent over seven years in the web development industry and worked on more than 50 projects. Her responsibilities as a Business Analyst are to listen to clients’ needs, understand their business, and work with them to build a successful plan for the project. Carolyn excels at creating solutions that improve employee experience and increase user adoption.

Carolyn also spent several years as a web developer. Her technical coding and Microsoft 365 background make her an invaluable asset to the team. She understands the strengths and limitations of Microsoft 365 and knows the diverse ways SharePoint, the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 can be used to solve business problems. She also can translate client needs into information that developers understand.

John White (Data Platform and Microsoft 365 Apps and Services MVP + CTO at tyGraph)

John is the Chief Technical Officer at tyGraph. He has spent 22 years in the Information Technology space and possesses a skill set that spans both architecture and development. He has been instrumental in delivering projects and applications that have been recognized with both local and global awards from Microsoft and IBM. Over the past decade, he has become increasingly focused on the Microsoft SharePoint and Business Intelligence platforms and has become an expert with the latest that these platforms have to offer.

With over 20 years of Information Technology experience, Norm is a Microsoft MVP and seasoned data professional with extensive expertise within the collaboration space using Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform. ​He is also a blogger (normyoung.ca), speaker and contributor to the community.​
